Oddfellows Visit June 2007

The weather forecast to be thunderstorms around seven but as we approached the sky was blue. It was a warm evening but as the skies darkened many put on jackets.

We gathered together in the car park at 19:30. George Puddifoot welcomed us and then proceeded to show us round the National Fuchsia Collection of 6400 Fuchsias.

After we had all had a good look round we went into a nearby marque were there was cheese and wine.

The food had been prepared by Nellie Puddifoot Helped by Sister Alice, Sister Elsie, Sister Marge, Brothers Ron, John and Jim.

The raffle raise £100 for the Macmillian Cancer Care which is the Charity of our district The St. Marys Cray and Dartford.
