Our 2009 Oddfellows Visit

A big thank you to George and Nellie Puddifoot for a Lovely Cheese and Wine Evening.


A lot of money for was raised for the PGM's Charities with an entry charge of just £2 and a raffle which raised £70, this year is there are two Charities for the Provisional Grand Master. The Charities are The Local Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND) and Threshers Day Nursery, of 193 High Street, St Mary Cray, Orpington Kent BR5 4AX Tel 01689 870 772.

After arrival two groups were shown round the National Fuchsia Collection, there are only four such collections in this country, one group went round with George and the other with Fred, Fred is very active with the Shooters Hill Fuchsia Associationa and he and his wife help out in the Nursery at busy times. Both groups had a very interesting tour of the Fuchsias. This was followed by an impressive spread of food, then the raffle then a chance to buy plants from the shop
